The Night Auditor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk during overnight hours, providing exceptional customer service to guests while performing essential accounting functions. This position requires a blend of hospitality management skills and attention to detail, making it ideal for individuals with a passion for guest relations and hotel operations. Duties Conduct nightly audits of financial transactions and ensure accuracy in all reports. Manage front desk operations during the night shift, including check-ins and check-outs. Provide outstanding customer service by addressing guest inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a pleasant stay. Handle multi-line phone systems with professionalism and efficiency. Maintain accurate records of guest accounts and transactions. Assist with guest services, including providing information about local attractions and amenities. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction. Uphold hotel policies and procedures while maintaining a welcoming environment for all guests. Requirements Previous experience in hotel management or hospitality is preferred. Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest relations. Familiarity with night audit processes is advantageous. Bilingual or multilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply to enhance communication with diverse guests. Proficiency in handling multi-line phone systems and excellent phone etiquette. Ability to work independently during overnight shifts while managing various tasks efficiently.
