Verify each Front Desk transactions. Process credit card transactions. Post room, tax, laundry and other miscellaneous charges to guest folios and finalize transactions completed during the day. Create and/or print required reports and file or transmit reports as directed.. Handles and connects phone calls and take messages for guests and/or hotel staff. Take, modify and cancel guest reservations. Input same into the computer, noting any special requests. Check in/out guests, verify departure dates and offer to make future reservations. Administer guest payment policies. Responsible for shift cash transactions. Responsible for knowing hotel emergency policies.
