Job Description
Summary The Night Auditor is responsible for the timely, accurate, and complete recording of property revenues, preparing for next day business by creating an excellent service experience for the guests of Rolling Hills Casino hotels and ensuring that the RHC Seven Service Standards are maintained. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal and guest services skills by being fun, friendly, and fair. Verify and post charges to guest accounts if needed, verifying room rates match posting details, and verifying that charges are posted to the correct departments. Complete all reports generated by Visual One and distributes to appropriate departments Ensure direct billings are posted to general ledger in a timely fashion Perform full system backups and assign wake-up calls Be knowledgeable about and able to respond to emergency situations Understand all safety and emergency procedures. Follows accident prevention policies. Report any maintenance repairs needed immediately to their supervisor or facilities Register guests into computer system, verifying registrations, address, and credit card information Answer all incoming calls with guest inquiries, make reservations, and transfer phone calls to the appropriate department as needed Communicate frequently with housekeeping, maintenance, security, and other departments Maintain integrity, confidentiality, and sensitivity when working with both internal and external clients & guests Effectively resolve guest complaints with understanding and compassion. Process reservations in a timely manner to guarantee proper handling of all reservations. Make special note of guest requests to guarantee guest satisfaction. Handle stressful situations and can make informed and efficient decisions Answer inquires pertaining to Rolling Hills Casino amenities, services, dining, and entertainment Check-in/check-out guests in the Visual One Reservation System Compute guest invoices, collect payments and accurately reconcile daily cash flow during shift in accordance with policies and procedures Available to work all shifts as required by business needs, including potential overtime. Perform a variety of clerical duties and projects. Perform general housekeeping duties due to business needs Knowledge of Rolling Hills Casino Resort promotions, menus, and events.
