General Manager Job Summary:
The Orland Inn is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our team. The Night Auditor will be responsible for balancing the day's transactions and ensuring the accuracy of our financial records using the Cloudbeds Property Management System. This position is crucial for maintaining the financial integrity of our operations and providing excellent guest service during the overnight shift.
Key Responsibilities:
Reconciliation:
Reconcile all accounts, including daily revenue and expenses, using the Cloudbeds Property Management System.
Reporting:
Prepare and distribute daily financial and occupancy reports.
Guest Services:
Assist late-night guests with check-in/check-out processes and handle any inquiries or issues that arise.
Audit Processes:
Conduct nightly audits to verify and correct any discrepancies in the day's activities.
Security:
Ensure the safety and security of the motel during the night shift.
Communication:
Communicate with co-workers and other departments to ensure smooth operations and effective resolution of any issues.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
  • Proficiency with the Cloudbeds Property Management System or similar PMS software.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Basic accounting knowledge.
Work Schedule:
  • This is an overnight position, typically from 11 PM to 7 AM.
  • Weekends and holidays may be required.
