Job Title:
Night Audit Supervisor Department:
Legacy Hotel Position Summary:
Responsible for overnight hotel operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, guest services, and security of the property during night hours. This position combines front desk responsibilities with accounting oversight.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform nightly audits of all hotel s financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in reports, postings, and reconciliations Act as the primary point of contact for guest needs and inquires overnight, from resolving issues to handling special requests Coordinate guest routing, review and finalize room assignments, and ensure systems are properly organized before morning shift arrives Collaborate with Front Desk morning shift to address outstanding items from the night audit and communicate any pertinent information to ensure exceptional guest service Check guests in and out, answer phones, and assist with various guest needs throughout the night Ensure that all charges for rooms, food, beverage, phones and miscellaneous are posted correctly Answer guest inquiries about hotel service, facilities, hours of operation, restaurants, transportation and entertainment Protect confidential guest and proprietary information in accordance with company policies Handle guest challenges in a friendly and courteous manner Other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
Previous experience in hotel night audit is preferred High School diploma or equivalent required. Proficiency with Hotel operating systems and accounting software is preferred Excellent customer service and communication skills Strong problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Ability to lift, move, push and pull equipment or boxes in excess of 20lbs. Ability to stand or walk for duration of shift Ability to work flexible hours to include nights, weekends and holidays as needed Ability to operate office equipment such as computers
