Job Summary The Night Auditor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel during nighttime hours. This position involves front desk operations, performing nightly audits, and providing exceptional guest services. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a keen attention to detail, ensuring that all financial transactions are accurate and that guests have a pleasant experience during their stay. Responsibilities Conduct nightly audits of financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. Manage front desk operations, including check-ins and check-outs, while providing excellent customer service. Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during the night shift. Maintain accurate records of room availability and reservations. Prepare daily financial reports and summaries for management review. Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and welcoming for guests. Collaborate with other departments to enhance overall guest satisfaction. Utilize phone systems effectively to communicate with guests and staff. Skills Strong phone etiquette to handle guest inquiries professionally. Background in hospitality or hospitality management is preferred. Experience in front desk operations within a resort or hotel setting. Excellent guest services skills to ensure a positive experience for all guests. Familiarity with various phone systems and hotel management software is advantageous. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working overnight and possess a passion for providing outstanding service in the hospitality industry.
