Non-Exempt Job Responsibilities Provide exceptional guest service by assisting guests with check-in and check-out procedures, responding to inquiries, and resolving guest concerns in a professional and timely manner. Perform nightly audit procedures, including balancing and reconciling room revenue, food and beverage revenue, cashier reports, guest accounts, credit card transactions, and other financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance. Research and resolve accounting discrepancies, verify journal and ledger entries, and complete nightly system balancing and PMS reporting procedures. Prepare, maintain, and distribute daily operational and financial reports in accordance with company standards and audit requirements. Collaborate with the Accounting Department and hotel leadership to ensure accurate audit processes and effective operational communication. Monitor overnight hotel operations to ensure guest safety, satisfaction, operational efficiency, and compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and brand standards. Conduct property walkthroughs to ensure cleanliness, safety, and operational standards are maintained throughout overnight shifts. Respond promptly and professionally to incoming telephone calls, guest requests, and service recovery situations. Monitor guest satisfaction trends through guest feedback platforms, inspection reports, and operational observations, providing recommendations for continuous improvement. Support communication and operational continuity between overnight operations and daytime management teams. Assist with departmental initiatives, operational improvements, training efforts, and service standard implementation as assigned. Maintain confidentiality of guest information, financial records, and company data. Promote a positive, professional, and team-oriented work environment focused on service excellence. Attend all required meetings, training sessions, and professional development programs. Serve as Manager on Duty during overnight hours when assigned. Perform additional duties as assigned to support operational and business needs. Qualifications Qualifications & Requirements Must be at least 18 years of age. Minimum of one (1) year of customer service experience required; luxury resort or hotel experience preferred. Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English to perform the essential functions of the position. Proficient in computer systems, Microsoft Office applications, and hotel management software. Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, maintain professionalism, and adapt to changing operational needs. Strong problem-solving skills with a commitment to delivering exceptional guest service. Knowledge of night audit procedures, cash handling, and basic accounting practices preferred. Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive guest, financial, and company information. Must be dependable, punctual, and flexible to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays based on business needs. Physical Demands Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during overnight shifts. Ability to move throughout the property, including conducting property walkthroughs and responding to guest or operational needs. Ability to use a computer, keyboard, telephone, and other standard office equipment for prolonged periods. Ability to communicate effectively in person and by telephone. Ability to perform repetitive hand and wrist motions associated with computer and office equipment use. Ability to occasionally bend, stoop, reach, kneel, or lift items related to hotel operations and guest service needs. Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25-50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation. Ability to work overnight shifts in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
