Job Description

Position Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused Guest Service Agent to join our front desk team, with possible additional responsibilities in night audit during overnight shifts. This hybrid role requires a warm and professional demeanor to provide exceptional guest experiences, as well as attention to detail and accuracy in performing nightly financial and reporting duties.
Key Responsibilities:
Guest Service Agent:
Greet and welcome guests promptly and courteously. Check guests in and out efficiently using the property management system (PMS). Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a timely and professional manner. Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and travel directions. Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments as needed to fulfill guest requests. Handle cash, credit card transactions, and maintain accurate records.
Night Audit:
Balance and reconcile all daily transactions for hotel revenue and room charges. Generate and distribute daily financial reports for management review. Verify front desk accounting records and correct any discrepancies. Ensure all charges are accurately posted and properly backed up. Prepare the system for the next day's operations. Monitor and ensure security procedures are followed during night hours.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in front desk operations or customer service preferred. Familiarity with hotel property management systems (e.g., PEP, OnQ) is a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, especially during overnight hours. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Comfortable handling financial data and reports. Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Work Environment:
Mostly indoors, front desk setting. Must be able to remain alert and professional throughout night shifts. Occasionally required to lift light objects (e.g., guest luggage, office supplies).
