Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Night Auditor, where you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth overnight operations at our hotel. This energetic position combines guest relations, administrative duties, and security responsibilities to provide exceptional service and maintain the safety and integrity of the property. As a Night Auditor, you will be the first point of contact for late-night arrivals and early morning departures, delivering a seamless experience for our guests while managing essential front desk functions during overnight hours. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a welcoming environment that encourages guest loyalty and operational excellence. Duties Greet and assist guests arriving or departing during overnight hours with professionalism and warmth, ensuring excellent customer service. Manage front desk operations including check-ins, check-outs, and billing procedures using hotel management software. Conduct nightly audits of financial transactions, reconcile accounts, and prepare reports to ensure accuracy in daily revenue tracking. Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly to maintain high levels of guest satisfaction. Monitor security systems, perform safety checks around the property, and respond to any incidents or emergencies with appropriate action. Maintain multi-line phone systems and respond to phone inquiries with courteous phone etiquette. Document all shift activities thoroughly through shift reports, incident logs, and audit documentation to ensure seamless communication between shifts. Skills Strong background in hospitality management with experience in hotel operations or front desk roles. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse guest populations effectively. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and proactive approach to guest relations. Knowledge of hotel management systems and night audit procedures to ensure accurate financial reconciliation. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, including phone etiquette and multi-line phone system handling. Ability to work independently during overnight shifts while maintaining high energy levels and attention to detail. Familiarity with resort or hotel environments, guest services standards, and hospitality best practices.
