Job Description
Job Summary Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Night Auditor, where you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth overnight operations at our hotel. This energetic position combines guest relations, administrative duties, and security responsibilities to deliver exceptional guest experiences while maintaining the integrity of our property. As a Night Auditor, you will be the first point of contact for late-night arrivals and early morning departures, providing friendly service and efficient management of hotel functions during overnight hours. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help uphold our standards of hospitality excellence. Duties Greet and assist guests arriving or departing during overnight hours with professionalism and warmth, ensuring a positive experience. Perform nightly audit procedures by reconciling accounts, verifying reservations, and preparing financial reports to ensure accuracy and accountability. Manage front desk operations including check-ins, check-outs, and handling guest inquiries with excellent customer service skills. Maintain security by monitoring CCTV surveillance, conducting property inspections, and controlling access to the hotel premises. Respond promptly to guest requests, resolve issues efficiently, and provide information about hotel amenities and local attractions. Handle multi-line phone systems with proper phone etiquette, directing calls appropriately and taking messages when necessary. Complete detailed shift reports, incident logs, and documentation to ensure seamless communication between shifts. Requirements Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel operations, particularly in front desk or night audit roles. Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and excellent communication abilities; bilingual or multilingual skills are highly desirable. Knowledge of hotel management systems and proficiency in handling multi-line phone systems. Ability to work independently during night shifts while maintaining high attention to detail and accuracy. Familiarity with guest relations, hotel security procedures, and phone etiquette standards. Previous experience working in a resort or similar hospitality environment is preferred. Bilingual or multilingual capabilities are a plus to serve diverse guest populations effectively.
