Job Description
Overview Sunday River Resort is seeking Hotel Night Auditors to join our Lodging team! This is winter seasonal overn ight position (11 PM - 7 AM) at one of New England's premier four-season resorts. As a Night Auditor, you'll be the face of our resort during overnight hours — delivering exceptional guest service while managing the hotel's nightly financial reconciliation and front desk operations. If you're a detail-oriented hospitality professional who thrives in an independent, overnight environment, we want to hear from you. Responsibilities Deliver outstanding guest service throughout the overnight shift, including warm and professional check-in and check-out Serve as the primary overnight point of contact for all guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests Manage and verify room reservations, room assignments, and room rate accuracy across the property Perform the complete nightly audit process, including reconciling daily financial transactions, posting room rates and taxes to guest folios, and balancing accounts Run and organize daily reconciliation reports as directed by the Accounting and Lodging departments Prepare and distribute overnight operational reports to set up day shift teams for success Respond to and coordinate with security and maintenance staff as needed during the overnight shift Provide knowledgeable recommendations on all Sunday River resort products, services, amenities, and on-mountain activities Handle all phone inquiries professionally and efficiently Maintain a thorough working knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and respond Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Previous hotel front desk, night audit, or hospitality experience preferred but not required — we will train the right candidate Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs; experience with a Property Management System (PMS) such as Springer Miller Systems Strong attention to detail and comfort with basic financial reconciliation tasks Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and problem-solve in a fast-paced overnight environment Must be available to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays Compensation & Benefits Wages range from $18 to $20 per hour , depending on experience, with opportunities for growth and advancement within Sunday River's Lodging department.
