Front Desk/Night Auditor

Job Summary:

As a Night Auditor at Calumet AmericInn Hotel, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel during overnight hours. You will be responsible for balancing the hotel's daily financial transactions, providing excellent customer service to guests, and maintaining a peaceful, welcoming atmosphere for everyone. Your work will directly contribute to the comfort and satisfaction of our guests, while supporting a positive and friendly team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Services:

Provide exceptional customer service to guests by checking them in and out, answering any questions, and resolving any issues during the night shift. You will be the friendly face that guests rely on for assistance.

Accounting & Reports:

Review and balance the day's financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and completeness of daily reports. You will verify guest folios, process credit card transactions, and make sure all billing information is correctly recorded.

Communication:

Maintain communication with other hotel departments to ensure all guest requests are met and ensure a smooth transition for the day shift team.

Security:

Monitor hotel security procedures to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff, addressing any security concerns that arise.

Night Operations:

Ensure the hotel is ready for the morning shift, including cleaning the lobby and preparing necessary documentation for the next day.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and positive attitude. Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask. Previous experience in hospitality or hotel management is preferred, but not required. Basic accounting or cash-handling experience. Ability to work independently during the night shift, while being part of a team. Strong communication skills. Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays. Why Join Us?
