Overview Experienced as a Hotel Night Auditor, where your energy and attention to detail will ensure seamless overnight operations and exceptional guest experiences. In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact during the night shift, managing guest inquiries, handling financial reconciliations, and maintaining the safety and security of the property. Responsibilities Conduct nightly audits of all hotel transactions using property management systems (such as Visual Matrix or similar platforms to ensure accuracy and completeness. Manage late-night check-ins and check-outs efficiently, providing friendly and professional customer service via multi-line phone systems and front desk interactions. Address guest inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and offer personalized solutions to enhance guest satisfaction through excellent customer service and problem-solving skills. Monitor security cameras, perform routine safety inspections, and follow hotel emergency procedures to maintain a secure environment for guests and staff. Prepare detailed shift reports, incident logs, and financial summaries to ensure smooth handovers between shifts. Assist with administrative tasks such as updating reservation records, managing guest accounts, and supporting front desk operations during off-hours. Maintain phone etiquette standards when communicating with guests, clients, vendors, and team members across various communication channels. Experience Previous experience in hospitality management or hotel operations is highly preferred, especially in roles involving front desk duties or night audit responsibilities. Proficiency with property management systems (PMS), Visual Matrix platforms used in hotel management. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations, including effective communication via phone and face-to-face interactions. Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures, guest services protocols, and security practices to ensure a safe environment during overnight hours. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are advantageous for engaging with diverse clientele in resort or hotel settings. Experience working with multi-line phone systems and handling complex customer service issues confidently. Familiarity with hospitality reservation systems and property management software enhances efficiency in nightly operations.
