Job Description

As a Night Auditor at The Ozarker Lodge, you are the overnight shift on the property— responsible for guest service, property readiness, and financial accuracy. This role combines front desk hospitality with operational oversight, ensuring a seamless transition between days while maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Overnight Guest Services:
Welcome late arrivals and provide efficient, friendly check-in/check-out experiences Respond to guest inquiries, concerns, and requests with professionalism and urgency Monitor property activity to ensure guest safety and satisfaction overnight Review add-on experiences, upsells, VIP Guests, arrivals, and special requests to ensure all expectations are met
Night Audit & Reporting:
Complete Night Audit process and run nightly reports (Opera Cloud) Review, finalize, and document a daily to-do report Ensure all guest folios, payments, and transactions are accurate and balanced Communicate key notes, issues, and updates to leadership and incoming team Prepare the next day's audit/reporting documents
Operational & Administrative Tasks:
Review communications across Microsoft Teams, Canary, Outlook email, Opera Cloud, and third-party platforms Update guest profiles, alerts, and reservation notes Ensure all arrivals are prepped and properly documented Print registration cards and prepare arrival materials Coordinate VIP tracking and reporting
Property Readiness & Cleanliness:
Maintain a clean, organized, and guest-ready front desk and lobby Perform cleaning tasks including lobby and bar upkeep, vacuuming, and mopping Ensure outdoor and shared guest areas are prepared for the next day
Stocking & Inventory:
Restock front desk, bar, and retail items Prepare bar setup for morning operations Ensure all merchandise and grab-and-go items are fully stocked
Shift Transition & Cash Handling:
Count and balance cash drawer at start and end of shift Ensure drawer is accurate and properly secured Prepare shift notes and updates for the incoming team Ensure the property is fully ready for morning operations
