Full Job Description Position:
Front Desk Night Auditor Overview:
Enjoy peaceful nights and working independently? As a Night Auditor, you'll provide guest services during late hours and ensure operations run smoothly overnight. This role is perfect for natural night owls or students, offering downtime to focus on classes or homework while on the clock.
Schedule:
Overnight shifts from 10:00 PM - 8:00 AM 3 to 4 nights a week
What You'll Do:
Greet guests and check them in or out Help with questions, issues, and late-night requests Run the nightly audit to balance hotel transactions Process payments and verify credit card activity Prepare reports and reconcile revenue (including F&B) Stock supplies, clean the front desk, windows, floors, and touch surfaces Restock and organize the sundry shop and front desk inventory Review and adjust reservations, no-shows, and cancellations Handle phones, take bookings, and provide info about the hotel and local spots Create group packets for incoming reservations Keep the property secure and respond to emergencies Report safety concerns or guest incidents Follow brand/hotel policies and keep a professional look Help other departments if needed to keep things running smoothly Assist with late and early morning shuttles as requested
What We're Looking For:
Must have a valid driver's license with no DUI's or other major traffic violations within the last 7 years. Must be able to pass a pre employment drug screen Comfortable working solo and staying focused overnight Good with computers and basic programs like Microsoft Office Strong attention to detail — especially with numbers and reports Great at solving problems and staying calm under pressure Experience at a front desk or night audit is a plus Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods Must be reliable and available on weekends and holidays Friendly, helpful, and ready to create a great guest experience
