Job Overview:
As a Night Auditor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel during the overnight hours. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including financial reconciliation, guest services, and system maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reconciliation:
o Balance daily revenue and expenses. o Reconcile guest accounts and credit card charges. o Prepare and analyze daily reports. o Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Guest Services:
o Check in and check out guests. o Assist guests with inquiries and requests. o Resolve guest complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner. o Provide excellent customer service.
System Maintenance:
o Update and maintain hotel systems and software. o Troubleshoot system issues and errors. o Back up and secure important data.
Security:
o Monitor security cameras and alarms. o Conduct regular property inspections. o Respond to security incidents as needed.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality setting, preferably as a front desk agent or night auditor. Strong understanding of financial principles and accounting practices. Proficiency in hotel property management systems (PMS). Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
