Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Night Auditor, where your energetic and detail-oriented approach will ensure smooth overnight operations and exceptional guest experiences. In this vital role, you will oversee the night shift at the front desk, manage hotel accounting procedures, and provide outstanding customer service to our guests. Your proactive attitude and hospitality expertise will help maintain the highest standards of guest relations and operational efficiency during nighttime hours. Duties Greet and assist guests with check-in, check-out, and any inquiries during the overnight shift, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Conduct nightly audits of guest accounts, ensuring accuracy in billing and reservations using property management systems such as OPERA or similar platforms. Manage front desk operations including multi-line phone systems, reservation modifications, and guest requests with professionalism and courtesy. Monitor hotel security through CCTV surveillance, conduct safety checks, and respond promptly to emergency procedures or incidents. Prepare detailed shift reports, financial summaries, and audit logs to ensure seamless transition between shifts and accurate record-keeping. Address guest concerns or issues swiftly, utilizing excellent customer service problem-solving skills to enhance guest satisfaction. Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and management teams to ensure all hotel operations run smoothly overnight. Requirements Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations, preferably with resort or hotel experience. Familiarity with property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA or equivalent hotel management software. Strong knowledge of hotel emergency procedures, guest services, and hospitality reservation systems. Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on phone etiquette and client communication across multi-line phone systems. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse guests effectively. Ability to work independently during night hours while maintaining high energy levels and attention to detail. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a friendly demeanor that fosters guest relations.
