This energetic role combines guest relations, administrative duties, and security responsibilities to ensure a seamless experience for guests arriving and departing during nighttime hours. As the Night Auditor, you will be the first point of contact for late-night inquiries, providing exceptional customer service while maintaining the safety and integrity of the hotel. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a welcoming environment that encourages guest loyalty and operational excellence. Duties Welcome and assist guests during late-night check-ins and check-outs, ensuring a smooth arrival and departure process. Handle guest requests, inquiries, and complaints with professionalism and a positive attitude, providing excellent customer service at all times. Conduct nightly audits of financial transactions, reservations, and billing records to ensure accuracy and completeness. Monitor security systems, perform routine safety checks, and report any suspicious activity or maintenance issues promptly. Manage multi-line phone systems with courteous phone etiquette, directing calls efficiently to appropriate departments or personnel. Prepare detailed shift reports documenting daily activities, incidents, and financial summaries for management review. Maintain guest confidentiality, uphold hotel policies, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards. Qualifications Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel operations, particularly in front desk or guest services roles. Bilingual or multilingual skills are highly desirable to effectively communicate with diverse guests. Strong knowledge of hotel management systems, night audit procedures, and guest relations best practices. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and professional phone etiquette. Ability to handle multi-line phone systems efficiently while managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Previous hotel experience in a resort or similar hospitality environment is preferred. Demonstrated ability to work independently during overnight shifts while maintaining high standards of hospitality management.
