Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Night Auditor I to join our hospitality team! This energetic role is vital in ensuring smooth overnight operations at our hotel, providing exceptional guest experiences, and maintaining the integrity of financial and operational records. As a Night Auditor I, you will serve as the first point of contact during the night shift, combining front desk responsibilities with accounting duties to uphold our high standards of guest service and hotel management. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a welcoming environment for our guests while ensuring all administrative tasks are completed efficiently. Duties Welcome and assist guests during the overnight hours with check-in, check-out, and inquiries, delivering outstanding customer service with a friendly attitude. Manage multi-line phone systems, answer guest calls promptly, and provide accurate information about hotel amenities and services. Conduct nightly audits of guest accounts, ensuring accuracy in billing, reservations, and financial records. Maintain security by monitoring CCTV surveillance, inspecting the premises, and controlling access to the hotel during your shift. Prepare detailed shift reports, incident logs, and financial summaries to ensure seamless communication between shifts. Handle guest requests or complaints professionally, resolving issues efficiently to enhance guest satisfaction. Support front desk operations by managing reservations, updating guest information, and assisting with special requests as needed. Skills Strong knowledge of hospitality management principles and hotel operations. Excellent customer service skills with a warm, approachable demeanor. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse guests effectively. Proficiency in hotel management software and multi-line phone systems. Effective phone etiquette and communication skills to interact confidently with guests and team members. Experience in guest relations, front desk procedures, and night audit processes within a resort or hotel environment. Ability to work independently during overnight hours while maintaining high attention to detail and security standards.
