Duties Greet and assist guests with check-in, check-out, and any inquiries during overnight hours, ensuring a positive experience through excellent customer service and phone etiquette. Manage property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA or similar hotel reservation systems to update guest records, process reservations, and handle billing accurately. Conduct nightly audits of financial transactions, including verifying charges, balancing accounts, and preparing reports to ensure accuracy for the next day's operations. Respond promptly to guest requests, resolve issues efficiently using customer service problem-solving skills, and communicate effectively with multilingual or bilingual guests. Monitor security cameras and conduct property inspections to maintain safety protocols in accordance with hotel emergency procedures. Handle multi-line phone systems to coordinate with departments, answer guest calls, and relay important messages professionally. Document incidents or irregularities during the shift through detailed shift reports while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. Experience Previous experience in hospitality management or front desk operations within hotels or resorts is highly preferred. Familiarity with hotel management software such as OPERA or other property management systems (PMS). Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and problem-solving in fast-paced environments. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus to effectively communicate with diverse clientele. Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures ensures safety and swift response during unforeseen situations. Experience working with multi-line phone systems and handling guest inquiries via phone communication demonstrates excellent phone etiquette.
