GENERAL OVERVIEW
Responsible for assisting guests efficiently, courteously and professionally in all front desk related functions according to the standards set forth by the Front Desk Manager. A high standard of service and hospitality must be maintained at all times.

MAJOR DUTIES
  • Recaps with morning and evening shift on anything pertinent. The more information/notes, the better.
  • Greet guests upon arrival, check-in and provide them with any information they need to enjoy their stay.
  • Check out guests who leave during your shift and ensure to document any complaints/comments in their profile and Whistle.
  • Audit and reconcile reports from the day shifts.
  • Schedule guest wake-up calls and reservations for the following day.
  • Verify that all EOD work has been performed by other departments.
  • Respond to guest inquiries, concerns and complaints as needed.
  • Run EOD computer functions (USAEPAY) so they are complete by the end of the shift.
  • Check incidentals and guest signatures.
  • Prepare and process reservation cards into Google Drive and organize by day/month/year.
  • Balance cash drawers.
  • Standing/walking, talking on the phone, computer operation, people skills, lifting with maximum of 50 pounds.
  • Answers phone, routes calls, takes messages and reservations by way of the property management system (Webrezpro).
  • Verifies bill with guest, post necessary charges, adjustments and payments.
  • Assists guests with questions and directions.
  • Informs our guests about our facilities: Café, rooftop, nearby attractions, other Society Hotel locations (when applicable).
  • Coordinates all room moves, late check-outs, and stay-overs to appropriate personnel.
  • Inspects all equipment and furniture in your daily work area for any hazards to employees and/or guests; report all hazards immediately to Maintenance for repair.
  • Has a clear understanding of emergency procedures and where emergency information is located.
  • Security checks hourly all shared spaces by doing walkthroughs and camera checks.
  • Checks online booking agents (Air BnB, Booking.com, Siteminder etc) and verifies information in the computer.
  • Completes nightly Auditor Check List and accurately achieves each items function.
  • Cleans shared spaces for both guest and partner satisfaction.
  • Represents The Society Hotel in a positive manner at all times.
Minor Duties:
  • Follows established standards and work procedures for the front desk.
  • Prevents loss or damage to hotel supplies and property.
  • Arranges for special services that may be requested by the guests.
  • Assists in achieving the highest level of occupancy and ADR.
  • Takes requested items to rooms if no house person on duty (dry cleaning, amenities, etc.). This position is $18
  • 22 hourly to start depending on experience.
We are looking for a full time employee to join our team! Previous hotel experience is preferred.
