Job Title Night Auditor Location Property Department Rooms Property, if applicable Property Specific FLSA Non-Exempt Direct Supervisor Front Office Manager/ Night Manager Job Overview The Night Auditor is responsible for managing front desk operations during the overnight shift while performing essential accounting and auditing functions. This role ensures the accuracy of financial transactions, balances daily revenue, and supports guest service needs during late-night hours. This position plays a key role in upholding OTH Hotels Resorts' vision, values, and operational standards by maintaining accuracy, accountability, and a high level of guest service. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, integrity, and the ability to work independently in a quiet yet responsibility-driven environment. Job Responsibilities Overnight Operations & Guest Service Manage front desk operations during the overnight shift. Check in late-arriving guests and assist with early departures as needed. Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns in a professional and timely manner. Maintain a welcoming, safe, and service-oriented environment for all guests. Financial Audit & Reporting Perform end-of-day accounting procedures, including balancing guest accounts and reconciling transactions. Audit and verify all daily financial activities, including room charges, payments, and adjustments. Generate, review, and distribute daily financial and operational reports. Ensure accuracy and completeness of all financial records and postings. Systems & Data Management Maintain accurate records within the property management system (PMS). Ensure proper documentation and data entry for all transactions and guest accounts. Identify and report discrepancies or irregularities in financial data. Safety, Security & Compliance Monitor hotel safety and security during overnight hours. Follow emergency procedures and report incidents in accordance with company standards. Ensure compliance with company policies, brand standards, and operational procedures. Team Coordination & Operational Support Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address overnight guest needs or issues. Prepare the hotel for the next day's operations, ensuring a smooth transition for morning staff. Communicate key updates, issues, and reports to management and incoming shifts.
