Job Description
Position:
Night Audit Associate Reports to: Front Desk Supervisor Position Purchase and Basic Function Primarily night Audit team members to ensure efficient and smooth audit operations for producing nightly financials to be entered and closed out, along with helping guest and assuring guest satisfaction. Responds in a professional and courteous manner to guests by providing accurate and timely information and services. You will also ensure hotel charges are processed diligently to guest's accounts, invoices are accurate, billing instructions are verified, all necessary supporting bills and vouchers are attached for direct settlements. Available to work 11pm - 7am weekday, weekends and holidays. Scope Ensure Outstanding customer care always. This includes proper appearance and adhering to the Plaza uniform standards. Maintains a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor and a welcoming greeting that will set the standards of the guest experience. Make guest room reservations through Logical program following the suggestive selling techniques outlined by Blue Print to insure you are following the format designed to effectively explain the guest rooms and amenities to sell and upsell guest room nights, increase occupancy and revenue. Courteously and accurately answers inquiries from potential guests and accepts hotel reservations or direct the call to the proper guest service team member. Daily shift process ensuring you are following the shift checks list and working together will all team members to update daily news and account information for great shift communication which will create great guest experience along with adhering to standard operating procedures. Assist in Training as needed and directed, work flow directed through daily lists as outlined for the audit position, verifying guest stays and rates, verifying credit card charges, checking on wait lists, and informing guest service team on reservation status, resolve issues/problems. Handle guest concerns and issues this promotes a quality operation, that delivers great service and exceeds the guest's expectations. Resolve customer issues, complaints, problems in a quick, efficient manner to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and quality service. Allocate rooms to expected arrivals after checking the guest's preferences and special requests. Build strong relationships and liaise with all other department's especially housekeeping and Café staff. Promote Café each day by having knowledge of the menu and specials to inform guests. Print next day registrations for incoming guests and attach any needed forms. Example would be a pet form if guest has indicated they are bringing a pet. Cross Check all billing instructions are correctly updated. Run EOD reports so they are complete by the end of shift. In sure you are counting in and out of the cash draw and following proceeds at the front desk. Communicate with your Supervise any items that you feel they should be made aware of to improve the operations of the facility to ensure an optimal level of service and hospitality is provided to the guests. Performs other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management. Ensures safety by following guest check in and security procedures and reporting suspicious activity to manager. Takes responsibility in the absence of the Guest Service Manager. As a Guest Service Associate, you will be a role model to others of property in explaining the features and benefits of the facility, you will need to share your expertise with new team member or someone from another department to insure they have the knowledge of the facility to respond to guest and associate questions and needs in a timely and positive manner. A positive attitude and excellent communication skills. Experience of working with others n a team environment. Be self-motivating and a strong desire to be part of creating a winning team. Ability to remain calm while under pressure. Previous knowledge of Reservation PMS systems. Education High School Diploma. Computer Knowledge and experience in MS office programs. Skills and Experience Knowledge of downtown area to provide good directions or assisting them with directional tools. Minimum 1 to 2 years work experience as Front Desk Agent or equivalent customer service position. Always use appropriate language and refrain from personal opinions and judgements. Strong customer service skills - a passion for working with guests and residents Strong problem-solving skills and is resourceful in assisting. Financial skills including ability to use key board and double check rates quoted and guest room charges and adjustments. Strong communication skills, verbal and written. Is a good listener and can hear and interpret what the message the guests is requesting. Has good eye contact and good body language that portrays a positive self-image and inspires others to achieve goals, WORKINGCONDITIONS
Must be able to stand hours at a time, sit, walk, reach, use hands to finger, handle, feel, talk and hear. Lift, carry or otherwise move up to 15 pounds regularly Lift, carry or otherwise move up to 50 pounds occasionally with assistance. Follow proper moving and lifting procedures.Please note:
