Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Night Auditor to join our team at a high-volume hotel in Knoxville! This role combines front desk responsibilities with nightly accounting and audit functions. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent guest service skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time position requiring 5-6 days per week, including weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities:
Perform all nightly audit duties, including balancing accounts, verifying postings, and completing daily reports Manage front desk operations during overnight hours, including guest check-in and check-out Process reservations and handle guest inquiries, requests, and concerns Post room charges, taxes, and any additional guest charges accurately Verify account balances and resolve discrepancies Maintain accurate cash handling procedures, including balancing cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift Monitor room status and maintain inventory accuracy Review front desk logs and communicate important information between shifts and management Maintain cleanliness of lobby and restroom areas as needed Ensure compliance with hotel SOPs, safety standards, and emergency procedures Assist with breakfast setup as needed Collaborate with all hotel departments to ensure high-quality guest service Complete all required training modules and assigned administrative tasks Perform additional duties as assigned by theGeneral Manager Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of night audit or hotel front desk experience in a high-volume environment Prior supervisory experience preferred Experience with cash handling, accounting procedures, and administrative tasks Familiarity with hotel systems such as Autoclerk and CLC is a plus Strong multitasking and organizational skills Excellent communication and customer service abilities Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently Ability to maintain a professional, friendly demeanor with guests and coworkersRequirements:
