Job Description

JOB OVERVIEW
The Night Auditor is responsible for providing professional, courteous service to guests while maximizing revenue and occupancy. The Night Auditor is responsible for completing the daily audit process and reporting discrepancies to the supervisor. The Night Auditor is also responsible for reservation and inquiry calls and overseeing front desk duties during the night shift. Duties include assisting guests with check-in or check out, reviewing guest payments, and acting as a point of contact for customer needs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide exceptional customer service to hotel guests. Perform quality assurance requirements for department. Communicate pertinent shift information in the digital logbook and records system. Pass pertinent information to the next shift on group information and current selling strategy. Schedule and make wake-up calls. Ensure delivery of requested amenities to guest rooms (towels, pillows, etc.). Key control. Close and balance shift. Make and confirm reservations. Complete a review of the transactions for the day and report all errors. Compile and organize all materials for the next shift. Willingness and ability to train new associates. Other duties assigned by the supervisor or General Manager.
