In this vital role, you will oversee the night shift, balancing administrative duties with guest relations to uphold our high standards of service. Your expertise in hospitality management and customer service will help maintain the safety, accuracy, and efficiency of hotel operations during nighttime hours. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in hotel management while contributing to a welcoming environment for all guests. Responsibilities Conduct nightly audits of daily financial transactions using property management systems (PMS) such as Hotel Key or similar platforms to ensure accuracy and completeness. Manage guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently, providing friendly and professional service via phone and in person. Handle guest inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest satisfaction. Monitor security cameras, perform safety inspections, and respond to any emergency procedures or incidents following hotel protocols. Prepare detailed shift reports, incident logs, and audit summaries to communicate overnight activities clearly to management. Assist with reservations, modifications, and cancellations using hospitality reservation systems while maintaining excellent client communication. Support front desk operations by answering phone calls with proper phone etiquette and managing guest requests during overnight hours. Requirements Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations, ideally with resort or hotel experience. Familiarity with property management systems (PMS), especially OPERA or comparable platforms. Strong customer service skills combined with problem-solving abilities to address guest concerns effectively. Multilingual or bilingual capabilities are highly desirable for engaging diverse guests confidently. Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures, safety protocols, and guest relations best practices. Excellent communication skills via phone and in person, demonstrating professionalism and hospitality etiquette. Ability to work independently during night shifts while maintaining high attention to detail and operational accuracy.
