In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact during the night shift, managing front desk activities, reconciling accounts, and maintaining the safety and security of the property. Your proactive approach and hospitality expertise will help uphold our standards of excellence while providing a welcoming environment for all guests. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hotel management skills in a fast-paced, guest-focused setting. Duties Oversee nightly front desk operations, including guest check-ins and check-outs with professionalism and efficiency Reconcile daily financial transactions using property management systems (PMS) such as Hotelkey or similar platforms Prepare and review night audit reports, ensuring accuracy in billing, reservations, and account balances Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with excellent customer service problem-solving skills Maintain security by monitoring CCTV surveillance, conducting patrols, and following hotel emergency procedures Assist with reservation management, including modifications and cancellations using hospitality reservation systems Communicate effectively via phone and in person with guests, staff, and emergency responders to ensure smooth operations Uphold phone etiquette standards while managing multiple communication channels during overnight hours Support guest relations by providing information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services Qualifications Proven experience in hospitality management or front desk operations within a hotel environment Familiarity with property management systems (PMS), especially OPERA or equivalent software Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle guest concerns diplomatically and efficiently Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse clientele effectively Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols is essential Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including phone etiquette Previous resort experience or working in a hotel with extensive guest services is advantageous Ability to work independently during night shifts while maintaining high standards of professionalism Join us as a Hotel Night Auditor to be at the heart of our hotel's nightly operations!
