Job Description
Job Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel Night Auditor, where your energetic and detail-oriented approach will ensure smooth overnight operations and exceptional guest experiences. In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact during the night shift, managing front desk duties, performing financial audits, and maintaining the safety and security of our property. Your proactive attitude and excellent communication skills will help uphold our standards of hospitality management and guest satisfaction. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your expertise in hotel management while delivering top-tier customer service in a lively environment. This position does require you to be able to work weekends and holidays! Responsibilities Greet and assist guests during late-night hours with professionalism and warmth, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Conduct nightly audits using property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA to verify reservations, billing, and account accuracy. Handle guest inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and provide exceptional customer service through phone communication and face-to-face interactions. Maintain security protocols by monitoring CCTV surveillance, conducting visual inspections of the premises, and managing access control for staff and guests. Prepare detailed shift reports, incident logs, and financial summaries to ensure accurate record-keeping for management review. Support emergency procedures by responding swiftly to hotel emergencies or safety concerns following established protocols. Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and security teams to ensure the property remains safe, clean, and guest-ready throughout the night. Experience Previous experience in hospitality management or front desk operations within a hotel or resort environment is highly preferred. Familiarity with hotel reservation systems such as OPERA or similar property management systems (PMS). Strong customer service skills with a focus on problem-solving and client communication in a fast-paced setting. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are advantageous for engaging with diverse guests effectively. Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures, guest relations best practices, and phone etiquette is essential. Experience working night shifts in a hospitality setting is desirable to ensure seamless overnight operations.
