  • Riverwalk is under new ownership and new management, and we have an exciting opportunity for a Night Auditor to join our team.
Gresham James Hotels, formerly Magnolia Lodging, an award-winning hospitality management group, provides competitive compensation. We currently have seven hotels in our portfolio in the greater Dallas area, one in Houston, and now one in San Antonio. The Night Auditor greets all guests and provides high-quality assistance in registering, assigning rooms, making reservations and arranging for all other services requested by the guest. The Night Auditor will also prepare financial reports, verify and balance daily receipts.
Requirements:
    Shift:
    11pm
    • 7am; flexible schedule a must
    • Prior Hilton experience preferred Our ideal candidate has a friendly, compassionate, and upbeat personality with great communication skills.
    Our ideal candidate should also have a minimum of one to three months of related experience or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Previous Hilton experience is always preferred. To be successful in this position, you must enjoy working as a harmonious team member, with exceeding our guest's expectations as your goal. Pay commensurate with experience. Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to):
    • Personally greet all guests upon their arrival at the hotel in a courteous manner according to hotel policy.
    • Register guests and assign rooms in an accurate, timely and polite manner.
    • Ensure guests are directed to their room in a manner which ensures understanding while providing the required privacy.
    • Answer telephone calls in a prompt (within four rings) manner and direct calls accurately or assist the caller with requests.
    • Make and confirm all reservations in a polite, accurate (according to all training), and efficient manner.
    • Compute bill and collect payment at check out from guests in an accurate, efficient manner maintaining hotel accounting, credit control and financial transaction procedures.
    • Answer inquiries pertaining to hotel services, registration of guests; and shopping, dining, entertainment and travel directions.
    • Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; develops alternative solutions and uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics.
    • Ability to manage difficult or emotional customer situations; includes the ability to respond promptly to customer needs and requests for service and assistance.
    • Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism; treats others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position.
    Perform requested tasks as assigned by Management.
    May include:
    • Filing,
    • Sorting mail,
    • General office straightening,
    • Deliveries to guest suites, or
    • Any other task to ensure the smooth functioning of the hotel.
    Perform all processes and procedures for
    Night Audit:
    • Prepare requested financial reports for management.
    • Balance and verify daily receipts.
    • Verify entries of cash, check and credit card payments.
