Full Job Description Job Overview:
The Garner by IHG in Liberty Lake is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the hotel's operations during the overnight shift, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of all front desk duties, and performing accounting and administrative tasks. As the Night Auditor, you will play a key role in ensuring guest satisfaction, handling any overnight guest needs, and completing end-of-day reports and financial reconciliations. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys working independently while contributing to a team-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform night audit duties, including balancing daily transactions, posting charges, and ensuring all financial records are accurate. Handle check-ins and check-outs during overnight hours, ensuring a seamless experience for all guests. Address guest inquiries and resolve issues or complaints in a professional and courteous manner. Monitor the safety and security of the hotel during overnight hours, ensuring the property remains safe for both guests and staff. Review, update, and prepare daily reports, including revenue, occupancy, and guest accounts. Assist with any reservations or booking inquiries as needed. Ensure proper communication with other hotel departments for smooth guest service. Process payments and manage cash handling procedures, ensuring accuracy and compliance with hotel policies. Maintain an organized and clean front desk area. Perform other administrative and operational tasks as required by the hotel management.
