Night Auditor

Job description Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our team at a Sonesta essential hotel.

The Night Auditor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk during overnight hours. This position involves balancing financial transactions, providing exceptional guest service, and maintaining the security of the hotel. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for hospitality. Responsibilities - Perform nightly audits of all financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with hotel policies. Handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently while providing excellent customer service. Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during the night shift. Maintain accurate records of all transactions and prepare reports for management. Monitor hotel security systems and ensure the safety of guests and property. Assist with phone systems, managing calls with professionalism and courtesy. Provide information about local attractions, services, and amenities to guests. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations throughout the night. Requirements - Previous experience in hotel management or hospitality is preferred, particularly in a front desk or night audit role. Strong understanding of guest relations and commitment to providing exceptional service. Proficiency in using phone systems; familiarity with hotel management software is a plus. Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work independently during overnight shifts while maintaining attention to detail. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
