About us: The Rockwell Inn is a family-owned independent property at downtown Jackson, Wyoming. We have 91 rooms total and we operate all year around. We are looking for a guest-service oriented, professional, and positive team player to be a Relief Night Auditor and part of our front desk team. Job Summary:
Relief Night Auditor is a dual role that serves as the Front Desk Agent and a Auditor during overnight shifts. Qualified applicants should be able to handle front desk tasks, take care of guests, keep efficient and effective communication within Front Desk team and all departments when involved. We are a service-oriented property and we do wear different hats during daily operations. Ideal applicants are expected to be professional at work, able to work individually with high performance and work well with coworkers.
Core Responsibilities:
Facilitating check-in and check-out processes for guests Being able to perform as the manager-on-duty when needed Keeping efficient and effective communication with guests, coworkers and other departments Making notes on reservations and logging up issues for the team, managers and other departments Handling phone calls, emails and other administrative tasks on the timely manner Completing assigned shift checklists and tasks accurately and thoroughly Operating company vehicles and maintaining excellent driving records Understanding and maintaining the standards, values, goals and policies of the property Providing exceptional service to guests in a professionally and genuinely friendly manner Understanding and maintaining company dress code policy and grooming standards Addressing complaints and requests attentively and professionally Providing resources and offering insights on local transportation, attractions, events and dining recommendations Booking reservations for local activities and adventures when asked to Collaborating with outside vendors, hotel partners to optimize guest experiences and resolve issues promptly Night Audit shift responsibilities: Posting charges and transactions correctly to guest accounts Posting charges to master accounts Investigating and analyzing out-of-balance situations and make necessary corrections or adjustments Balancing daily revenue and expenses transactions for the property Preparing financial reports of daily/monthly revenue summaries and projections Assisting guests with general inquiries about property amenities, services, room rates and inventory, etc. Handling reservations through emails, phone call, emails with Property Management System Handling maintenance, house keeping requests following company guidelines and policies Ensuring smooth operations during the nighttime shifts and ensuring the safety of the guests and the property
Requirements:
Must be able to work two overnight shifts per week 11PM- 7AM Must be able to work weekends Valid driver's license and clean driving records Service-oriented and guest-focused mindset Possessing good knowledge of accounting procedures and cash-handling procedures Paying attention to details Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Accountability, integrity and reliable work habits We want genuine, hard-working people on our team.....
