Technical Proficiency Full Job Description Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 of the most recent 7 years' experience performing payroll processing duties Thorough knowledge of: client-server-based data processing environment, including report writer applications accounting or payroll processing principles (or equivalent data processing or financial knowledge) IH compensation and benefit programs, and other human resource policies and procedures Proficient in word processing and PC based spreadsheet programs Demonstrated analytical and customer service skills Demonstrated ability to organize and implement tasks of a technical nature Demonstrated leadership skills
Minimum Licensure, Registration, Certification:
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in HR, accounting, or business Certified Payroll Professional (CPP)
Responsibilities:
Manages and assists in the daily activities of the payroll team/payroll area to provide and perform payroll, benefit, and related administrative functions for all system employees in accordance with Infirmary Health (IH) policies and procedures. Ensures timely, accurate and efficient delivery of pay and benefits. Trains team members and others in payroll related items/functions and provide assignments required to process payroll and payroll related jobs. Serves as key resource for payroll and timekeeping system.
