Job Description

Troon Corporate headquarters located in Scottsdale, Arizona is excited to announce the exceptional career opportunity of Payroll Manager. Essential Duties:
Full processing and management of the Company payroll processes; weekly and bi-weekly payroll for approximately 30,000+ employees. Oversee the payroll invoicing process as it relates to the Company's managed properties. Effectively manage transitions in and out of the Company's portfolio. Work with Payroll Director and BSD team on system issues. Generate ad hoc and custom reports on a monthly basis for the accounting team. Manages the payroll team, working with the Payroll Supervisor to balance workload, ensuring timely completion of work with minimal overtime. Develops staffing plans and establishes work schedules; prioritizes team workload to maintain service levels. Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to team members, fostering their professional growth and development. Manages and reports on key performance indicators and metrics. Maintains a high level of knowledge and expertise in current applicable payroll laws and regulations. Networks with peers and seeks to be informed about emerging trends and issues, best practices, etc. Encourage team work and collaborative attitude Performs other duties as required Regular and reliable attendance
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's (B.A./B.S.) in Business or related discipline and two to four years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g. the associates may be required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers, the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English). Strong analytical skills. Strong attention to detail. Exceptional organizational skills. Possess a high level of accuracy. Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects daily. Ability to work independently with little or no supervision. Prior supervisory and management experience. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Ability to study, analyze and interpret complex information in order to improve practices or develop new approaches. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Extensive knowledge of working within UKG.
