Role Description This is a full-time Certified Payroll role located on-site in Hayward, CA. The Certified Payroll Specialist will be responsible for managing payroll processing, ensuring compliance with payroll tax regulations, overseeing garnishment calculations, and maintaining accurate payroll records. The role involves working closely with the finance and HR teams to ensure timely and accurate payroll execution in alignment with legal, affilliated unions and company policies. Qualifications Proficiency in Payroll Administration and Payroll Processing Knowledge of Garnishments and Payroll Taxes Experience with Payroll Services and related reporting practices Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling payroll records Familiarity with federal and state labor laws applicable to payroll Proficiency in payroll software and advanced Excel skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience Union payroll experience
