Our team provides qualified Accounting and Finance professionals on a temporary and permanent basis across a broad range of industries. GHJ's relationship with our Global Advisory and Accounting Network provides the resources needed to better understand client's needs, attract a higher caliber of candidates and assess candidate potential. We are seeking an Interim Payroll Manager to oversee payroll operations and ensure accurate, timely payroll processing during a temporary engagement. This individual will serve as a key resource for payroll compliance and process management. Responsibilities Manage end-to-end payroll processing Ensure compliance with payroll tax regulations Review payroll reconciliations and reporting Address payroll inquiries and discrepancies Partner with HR and Finance on payroll-related matters Support payroll audits and year-end activities Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred 5+ years of payroll experience Experience managing multi-state payroll Knowledge of payroll tax regulations Experience with payroll systems such as ADP, UKG, Workday, or Paycom Strong analytical and organizational skills #GHJSS #LI-LM1 We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses and identifying potential inconsistencies or verification signals in application materials based on available information.
