Job Description

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on
  • Payroll Supervisor
  • to support our client in the North Dade area. This is a temp to hire hybrid job opportunity working for a Law Firm. Must be Bilingual (English/Spanish). Schedule is 8am-5pm, Mon-Fri and Pay is $20 per hour.
  • Core Responsibilities
  • As the Payroll Supervisor you will be responsible for:
Audit & Improvement:
Evaluating current global payroll schedules and internal SOPs to identify bottlenecks and implement efficiency-driven changes.
  • Work hand-in-hand with US and
LATAM HR
Business Partners to ensure all employee lifecycle changes (hires, terminations, promotions) are processed with 100% accuracy.
  • Partner with HR to manage the payroll side of benefits administration, including 401(k) contributions, health insurance deductions, and country-specific social credits.
Process Efficiency:
Reduction in manual adjustments and "off-cycle" checks through automation.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • US Payroll Oversight
  • Responsible for the complete function of bi-weekly salary calculations, including detailed reviews of employees' calculations.
  • Manage communications with state tax authorities, including registrations, audits, and reconciliations.
  • Reconcile General Ledger (GL) postings and balance sheet accounts related to payroll transactions.
  • Lead year-end auditing of benefits, tax impounds, and retirement company matching calculations.
  • LATAM Payroll Management
  • Responsible for approval the semi-monthly and monthly payroll approvals presented by the Global Team for Mexico, Argentina and Colombia.
  • Review calculations accuracy of final payments and oversee adjustments related to time off, disabilities, and overtime.
  • Review and help manage payroll partners and monthly billing to ensure accuracy of billing quantities and integration consistency. Supervisory & Performance Management
  • Lead the Global Payroll Team through performance evaluations, coaching, and development sessions.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs to ensure all tax filings and reports are completed accurately and on time.
  • Maintain the security of payroll and tax information, ensuring API access is limited to non-wage related data where appropriate
  • Requirements & Experience
  • System
  • : Expert-level proficiency in ADP Workforce Now
  • Experience
  • : Proven experience in US bi-weekly payroll and LATAM monthly/semi-monthly cycles
  • Analytical:
  • Strong ability to perform manual calculations for severance, final payments, and tax adjustments
  • Compliance:
  • Deep knowledge of US state tax registrations and LATAM government deadlines
  • Communication
  • : Ability to collaborate with HR OPS, Accounts Payable, and external tax authorities.
  • Languages
  • : Proficient in English and Spanish language.
  • Schedule:
  • Monday - Friday, Flexible office schedule to accommodate all US and South America offices. This is a hybrid job working 2-3 days in the North Dade office and the rest from home.
  • Pay Rate:
