Job Description

Position Overview We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Manager to oversee daily administrative operations while managing payroll, HR functions, and office coordination . This role is critical to ensuring compliance, supporting field operations, and maintaining efficient back-office processes. This position requires someone who can operate independently, handle sensitive information, and support a fast-paced construction environment. Key ResponsibilitiesPayroll Administration Process weekly payroll for field and office employees Ensure accuracy of hours, job costing, and classifications Manage certified payroll reporting (if applicable) Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations Coordinate with accounting on payroll-related reconciliations Human Resources (HR) Manage employee onboarding and offboarding Maintain personnel files and HR documentation Assist with employee relations, disciplinary actions, and terminations Coordinate benefits administration (health, PTO tracking, etc.) Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies Support recruiting efforts (job postings, screening, scheduling interviews) Administrative & Office Management Oversee daily office operations and ensure efficiency Serve as the primary point of contact for office-related matters Manage supplies, vendors, and office organization Support leadership with scheduling, reporting, and coordination Assist with document management, contracts, and general recordkeeping Qualifications Required 3+ years of experience in: Office management, HR, or payroll Experience processing payroll (weekly preferred) Strong understanding of administrative and organizational processes Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and office software High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to handle confidential information professionally Preferred (Strongly Valued) Experience in construction industry Familiarity with certified payroll Experience with HR compliance and employment regulations Experience with payroll or accounting systems (e.g., Paycor, QuickBooks, etc.) Join us as an Office Manager where your expertise will directly contribute to creating an organized, welcoming workspace that supports our team's success.
