Job Description
Overview Our client is a growing organization, and has a newly created role for a Payroll & Benefits Manager to own and lead all aspects of payroll processing and benefits administration. This individual will serve as the subject matter expert across these functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a strong employee experience. This is a high-impact role with visibility across HR and Finance, and will report to a dynamic HR Leader. Key Responsibilities Own and process end-to-end, in-house payroll on a semi-monthly basis Ensure payroll accuracy, timeliness, and compliance in a multi-state setting Perform payroll audits and reconciliations, including deductions, taxes, and garnishments Maintain payroll records and support audit requirements Research and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries Partner with internal teams and external providers on tax filings and reporting (W-2s, 941s, etc.) Collaborate with Finance on payroll-related journal entries and reporting Serve as the primary liaison with the benefits broker and vendors Assist with administering a full suite of benefit programs including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, FSA/HSA, and 401(k) Qualifications Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience) 3-5+ years of progressive payroll experience, including full cycle processing Proven experience managing full-cycle payroll, including compliance, reconciliations, and year-end processing Hands-on experience administering employee benefits and open enrollment ADP experience required Strong understanding of payroll tax regulations and benefits compliance High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining confidentiality #
MWTEMP Pay:
$90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per yearBenefits:
