Division:
Payroll In this role you will:
  • Provide oversight of the payroll department, including supervision of all payroll employees.
  • Certify weekly payroll processing, including time-to-gross, gross-to-net, workers' compensation, and flexible spending payments. Process supplemental payrolls to resolveissues impacting IRS compliance and employee pay.
  • On an ongoing basis, train staff and City departmental timekeepers of all payroll-related requirements in association with Chapter 36, union contracts, payroll processing, and the flexible spending benefit plan.
  • Prepare and monitor tax reports, including IRS 941 and 5500.
