Indianapolis, IN Pay:
$110,000
  • 130,000 + 12% annual bonus
Schedule:
Full-time onsite (5 days/week) with option for 1-2 remote days/week after 90 days Our client provides: Our client is a leading provider in the energy infrastructure industry, specializing in essential services for natural gas and electric systems. They are known for operational excellence, innovation, and a strong commitment to their workforce.
They are looking for you:
An experienced Payroll Manager to lead payroll operations for a multistate, unionized workforce. You will oversee a team, integrate multiple payroll systems, and help standardize processes across locations. This is a direct-hire role, and you will play a key part in shaping payroll strategy.
What you get to do:
  • Lead payroll operations for ~6,000 employees across multiple locations Ensure compliance with multistate payroll and union requirements Manage and mentor payroll team members Oversee payroll system integration and process improvements Collaborate with HR and finance to develop payroll strategy What you need to succeed:
  • Strong experience managing payroll teams, including union payroll Knowledge of multistate compliance, taxes, and overtime regulations Experience leading payroll system integrations and process transformations CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) preferred Nice to have: experience with Dayforce, construction/unionized industries, or multiple payroll systems What's in it for you:
