Senior Payroll Supervisor Overview
  • Lead payroll operations with a focus on multi-state compliance and tax regulations.
  • Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for diverse employee categories.
  • Collaborate with HR and finance teams to maintain payroll integrity.
  • Support audit requests and ensure compliance with federal and local regulations.
  • Provide expertise in payroll systems and resolve employee payroll issues.
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold high standards in payroll operations.
  • Contribute to process improvements and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Work in a hybrid environment, balancing onsite and remote responsibilities. Key Responsibilities & Duties
  • Oversee and process multi-state payrolls for various employee types.
  • Prepare and file necessary tax documents and ensure compliance.
  • Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding payroll processes.
  • Generate payroll reports and meet fiscal reporting requirements.
  • Collaborate with HR to address payroll-related inquiries and issues.
  • Support audit processes and maintain accurate payroll records.
  • Calculate and submit payroll adjustments and corrections.
  • Ensure compliance with workers' compensation and benefit administration. Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • 10 years of payroll processing experience, including government contracting.
  • Proficiency in Dayforce/Ceridian and Deltek CostPoint systems.
  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
  • Experience with multi-state payroll cycles and tax compliance.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and ensure payroll accuracy.
  • Proactive mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
