Sparks Group has partnered with a leading healthcare research hospital and is seeking a qualified Manager of Payroll to oversee payroll operations for a renowned healthcare institution. This role involves managing a team, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, and maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Responsibilities :
Lead and develop a high-performing payroll team. Oversee the production and distribution of paychecks and related documentation. Implement and maintain robust payroll procedures and record-keeping systems. Ensure adherence to all applicable payroll laws and regulations. Prepare and file tax returns and reports accurately and timely. Process payroll-related data efficiently and accurately.
Qualifications/Background Profile :
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration, or equivalent experience. Minimum of 10 years of progressive payroll experience. Minimum of 5 years of experience with PeopleSoft 8.0 and higher. Experience in Workday is required with experience in ADP is preferred Proven supervisory experience in accounting or payroll. In-depth knowledge of payroll processes, scheduling, and decentralized payroll distribution. Expertise in automated payroll systems, particularly PeopleSoft. - This job is In-Person.
Pay Range:
Hourly $50.00 to $56.00 We offer several comprehensive benefits package including health and life insurance, paid and unpaid time off, and retirement and savings plans to qualifying employees.
