ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Leading the payroll team members which includes: Point of contact- Go-to person to manage escalated issues and involve supervisor when needed. Monitor coverage
- Provide back-up to other team members when they are out. Training
- Train new team members and monitor team members being cross trained. Coaching
- Offer training/leadership to others and participate in performance reviews, including making compensation recommendations. Input Source
- Give ideas/solutions to questions or situations that come up.
QUALIFICATIONS
An associate degree and four years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.REQUIRED SKILLS
Proficiency with business collaboration tools such as MS Office applications and Outlook. Superior internal and external customer service and communication skills with all levels of employees. Enthusiastic, dedicated to the challenge of helping other people. Demonstrates attention to detail. Strong ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion regarding confidential matters. Self-starter with the ability to perform with little or no direct supervision. Excellent organizational and time/task management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, work within a defined timeline, and operate with changing priorities. Function collaboratively as part of a fast-paced, goal-oriented team. Able to support team needs; speak to strengths and areas of improvement. Ability to identify staffing concerns and needs and collaborate with supervisor. Excellent communication skills in working with and relating to people at all levels of an organization. Ability to communicate well, motivate team members, and delegate responsibilities. Displays adaptable leadership style and exceptional teamwork and communication skills. Business Acumen, understanding of business operations in relation to job and team.PAY RANGE
