We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Payroll Manager to support our Company and ensure the smooth operation of day-to-day payroll functions. About the Role We are seeking an experienced and detail‑oriented Payroll Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of payroll operations. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations, improving payroll systems, and delivering exceptional service to employees across the organization. Key Responsibilities Manage end-to-end payroll processing for all employees (salary, hourly, contractors, etc.). Review, audit, and validate payroll data for accuracy and compliance. Maintain and update payroll systems, tax information, and employee records. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and labor laws. Prepare payroll reports for leadership, finance, and auditing purposes. Collaborate with HR, Finance, and department leaders to resolve payroll-related issues. Lead payroll year-end activities including W‑2 processing and tax filings. Manage payroll vendor relationships and system upgrades. Develop and implement payroll policies, controls, and best practices. Supervise and mentor payroll team members (if applicable). Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or related field (preferred). 3-5+ years of payroll experience; prior management experience a plus. Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, taxation, and compliance. Experience with payroll systems (ADP, Paycor, UKG, Workday, etc.). Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Strong communication and customer‑service mindset. CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification is a plus.
