This hands-on leadership role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, maintaining compliance with payroll regulations, leading a payroll team, and driving process improvements. The ideal candidate has experience managing high-volume payroll operations and enjoys partnering with HR and Finance to support organizational success.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the full-cycle, semi-monthly payroll process for 2,000+ employees across multiple states. Lead and support the payroll team while ensuring payroll accuracy, compliance, and timely processing. Review payroll data, tax withholdings, garnishments, benefits, and employee record updates. Partner with HR, Finance, and third-party vendors to resolve payroll issues and improve processes. Prepare payroll reports, support audits, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
Qualifications:
5+ years of payroll management experience supporting high-volume, multi-state payrolls. Experience leading payroll teams and managing complex payroll operations. Strong knowledge of payroll tax regulations and compliance requirements. Experience with UKG (UltiPro) or similar payroll systems preferred. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred (CPP certification is a plus).

Up to $120,000

$90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
