HR, Payroll & Safety Manager

HR, Payroll & Safety Manager Claverack Well & Pump is seeking a reliable and experienced HR, Payroll & Safety Manager to join our growing team. This key role helps keep our operations running smoothly by supporting employees, ensuring accurate payroll, and maintaining a safe, compliant workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage all HR functions, including hiring, onboarding, employee relations, and recordkeeping Process weekly payroll accurately and on time Oversee benefits administration and ensure compliance with labor laws Maintain and enforce workplace safety programs and OSHA compliance Conduct safety training and manage safety documentation Handle workers' compensation claims and incident reporting Develop, implement, and update company policies and procedures

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in HR, payroll, safety management, or a related field preferred QuickBooks experience a must Reports directly to the Owner and Operations Manager Experience in construction, service, or trade industries preferred Strong organizational and communication skills Knowledge of labor laws and workplace safety regulations Payroll software experience preferred Ability to handle confidential information with integrity Prevailing wage experience required
