International Payroll Supervisor Location:
White Plains, NY (Hybrid)
Compensation:
$120,000-$135,000 + Annual Bonus + Comprehensive Benefits About the Opportunity A nationally recognized professional services organization is seeking an experienced International Payroll Supervisor to join its growing Payroll team. This is a newly created position driven by continued organizational growth and offers the opportunity to become the primary subject matter expert for international payroll operations across multiple countries. Reporting to the Payroll Manager, this individual will oversee international payroll processing, compliance, tax regulations, vendor management, and process improvements while helping build and scale the organization's global payroll function. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex payroll challenges, working across multiple countries, and partnering with internal stakeholders in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Hybrid Schedule Three days onsite (Tuesday-Thursday) Two days remote Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for international payroll operations across multiple countries. Process, reconcile, audit, and review international payrolls while ensuring timely and accurate payroll delivery. Ensure compliance with international payroll regulations, tax laws, labor requirements, and social security programs. Partner with third-party global payroll vendors to coordinate payroll processing and statutory reporting. Manage payroll tax compliance, including tax equalization, shadow payrolls, expatriate payroll considerations, and applicable tax treaty requirements. Develop and maintain payroll policies, SOPs, documentation, and training materials. Support payroll audits and respond to compliance inquiries. Partner closely with HR, Finance, Accounting, Benefits, and external vendors on payroll-related initiatives. Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes, controls, and efficiencies. Supervise and mentor payroll staff while supporting future team growth. Assist with special projects and global payroll initiatives. Qualifications Bachelor's degree required. 5+ years of international payroll experience. Experience processing payroll across multiple countries. Experience supporting payroll populations of 1,000+ employees . Strong understanding of international payroll tax compliance and statutory regulations. Previous supervisory or team leadership experience. Experience working within Workday HCM strongly preferred. Experience with other global Human Capital Management (HCM) platforms will also be considered. Excellent Excel, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Why Consider This Opportunity?
