Payroll Manager - Oregon, hybrid opportunity Growing organization is seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to oversee payroll operations and ensure employees are paid accurately, timely, and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. This position is responsible for managing payroll processes, maintaining strong internal controls, supporting audits, and driving continuous process improvement. The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a large and dynamic employee population. Responsibilities
- Oversee timely, end-to-end payroll processing.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll and wage-and-hour laws.
- Support internal and external audits by providing payroll documentation and records.
- Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes, controls, and system efficiency.
- Partner with Human Resources, Benefits, and Finance teams to support accurate documentation and payroll outcomes.
- Lead and develop payroll staff while supporting departmental priorities. Required Qualifications
- Experience with UKG Pro payroll systems or comparable enterprise payroll platforms required.
- Five or more years of payroll leadership or advanced payroll administration experience.
- Demonstrated experience supporting multi-unit or multi-location operations.
- Proven track record of processing payroll for 1,000+ employees in a high-volume environment.
- Strong knowledge of payroll taxes, wage-and-hour compliance, and payroll controls.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and related business applications.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation highly desirable.
- Experience in hospitality, retail, healthcare, distribution, staffing, manufacturing, or other high-volume industries preferred.

$70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
