Payroll Manager Salary:

Take ownership of payroll strategy and operations while leading process improvements, strengthening controls, and helping modernize the payroll function. Key Responsibilities Lead the day-to-day payroll operations for a large, multi-state and multi-location employee population, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing. Manage payroll compliance, tax requirements, wage and hour regulations, audits, reconciliations, and year-end reporting. Lead and develop the payroll team while partnering closely with HR, Finance, Benefits, and other business leaders. Drive payroll system enhancements, process improvements, automation, and standardization to improve efficiency and accuracy. Serve as the payroll subject matter expert and provide guidance on payroll policies, reporting, compliance, and complex employee payroll issues. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred. 7+ years of progressive payroll experience, including experience managing a payroll team or large-scale payroll operation. Strong knowledge of multi-state payroll, payroll tax compliance, wage and hour regulations, and payroll systems. Experience with payroll system implementations, process improvement, automation, and working in a complex or manufacturing environment is highly preferred. #
